Why we are recruiting all these positions
Blockchain, machine learning, social network, digital media… you may think I am too ambitious to enter into all these areas. But they are all interrelated. They will merge to one sometime in the future. As we are seeking teammates to join this exciting journey, I think I have to give you a brief what we are doing.
Blockchain
Forbole, which is our flagship of these innovative projects, is positioned as a blockchain startup. The main core project is a referral social network. We are now testing the MVP. Our main difference with most of the other blockchain companies who have done ICO or who are going to launch ICO is that we don’t choose Ethereum. We are skeptical about the scalability and transaction speed of proof-of-work algorithm. Instead, we use Tendermint which is a consensus engine based on proof-of-stake and will join COSMOS Network as part of its internet of blockchains ecosystem.
No more mining.
We took the path that is less chosen by others, and prepared to learn new stuff every day. We need Blockchain Developer. (JD of Blockchain Developer)
Machine Learning
Forbole is not stopping here. We have formed another joint venture with some other partners to do AI + MarTech. Equipped with our strong technical and digital marketing experience, we will be the technical partner of the joint venture. So we need Machine Learning Engineer. (JD of Machine Learning Engineer)
These are so new to Hong Kong. We welcome fresh graduates who are so geeky and crazy in the technical areas of blockchain and machine learning.
Digital Media
Creativeworks and Forbole are also discussing another project with some angel investors to do an integrated project combining media, culture and technology. We need an in-house content creation team. So we are also recruiting for Digital Writer.
